The first of how we are acting on the feedback of Rizq Symposium 2023 – Something tangible for participants to bring home.
We present, Ishreth Hassen, a portfolio manager heading the research team at Foord Asset Management, a fund managing US$2 billion in assets. Ishreth has more than 15 years of experience in the fund management industry and oversees a US$15 million value focused Shariah Equity fund in Singapore. Here’s a mini masterclass on how what you should do when analysing stocks, something not to be missed.
Session 2: Fire Chat - Navigating Rising Cost of Living and Upholding Community Values
The world is facing a “new paradigm with incalculable outcomes” says Mark Wiseman, chairman of Alberta Investment Management’s pension fund (S$156 billion in AUM).
Join us for a compelling Fireside Chat as a distinguished Member of Parliament, Mr Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim engages in a thought-provoking dialogue with a seasoned scholar, Prof Dr Khairudin Aljunied and moderated by our very own Salihin Samsudin, COO of RizqX. They’ll be delving into pressing global issues from conflicts and climate disasters to political shifts and economic challenges.

- 2024 Outlook of the Islamic Finance and investment industry (Mutual funds and private funds) in Singapore by Mr Sani Hamid, Director of Economy & Markets and Head of Islamic Wealth Advisory, Financial Alliance
- Capital Markets outlook: Stocks, ETFs and REITs by Ustaz Syed Muhammad Alsagoff, Associate Director, Shariah Services
We’ll then have a panel session moderated by Mr Raj Mohamed to dive deeper into the Islamic Finance, investment and banking industry in Singapore.

Session 5: Asatizah Panel Session - Empowered and Enlightened: Islamic Financial Wisdom for Today's World
Our asatizahs are who we look for when it comes to spiritual guidance. With all that is happening in the world globally, is there respite and guidance in our religious texts to overcome the emotions and problems?
