Profile of Ridhwaan: Emerging Leader in Islamic Finance and Business

Ridhwaan found his passion for Islamic finance at the school where he graduated from – Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah – after taking an Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) offered by Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI), UK. He then pursued a diploma in Banking and Finance at Nanyang Polytechnic and is currently a final year Business undergraduate, majoring in International trade and minoring in Entrepreneurship at NTU.

He has substantial experience in the finance industry working for ING Bank N.V., OCBC Bank Ltd, Amanie Advisors, Pergas Investment Holdings, Financial Alliance and Kapital Boost.

Ridhwaan was a section commander (SGT II) in SCDF’s Sengkang Fire Station and was awarded three service excellence awards.

Besides being known for his considerable connections, he is also a young Certified Shariah Advisor & Auditor (CSAA) under AAOIFI and an Advanced Certified Islamic Finance Executive (ACIFE) under Ethica Institute.
