We are not limited to these words even though the verbal statement of “I buy” and “I sell” is the strongest indication of contentment in a transaction for both buyer and seller.

In concluding a transaction, we are allowed to use any other form of verbal statement or any forms of communication that indicates contentment of sale within our social norms.

This includes sign language for mute and deaf people as well as digital languages.

In summary, any form of verbal statements or other forms of communication that signify contentment of transaction parties in the fair transaction conclusion can be used of sigha in ijab and qabul.
