Allah’s messenger (ﷺ) said:
“O people of trade! Indeed the Shaitan and sin are present in the sale, so mix your sales with charity”.
Narrated by Abu Wa’il on the account of Qais bin Abi Gharazah

This hadith occurred when the prophet came to Qais bin Abi Gharazah who was among the “brokers” at that time and mentioned the following advice.
Charity is a commendable virtue in Islam that brings limitless bounties and various significant blessings to the one who performs it sincerely. These various blessings are mentioned by our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) in his sayings: “Indeed charity extinguishes Allah’s anger, and it protects against the evil death” and “treat [supplementary] your sickness with charity“.
Likewise, in Surah Baqarah, verse 274, the Quran states: “Those who spend their wealth in charity day and night, secretly and openly—their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve“.
With this, let us all make the intention to perform more charities to ripe the bounties and blessings in the hope that it will cleanse any wrongdoings of our transaction as well.
